The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for improving and solving issues which can possibly occur during a cooperative performance among base stations in a wireless communication system. The method includes the steps of: identifying existence of at least one cell which belongs to an other base station; according to identified results, determining whether neighboring cell information should be included in a base station-related message; and transmitting the base station-related message to the other base station depending on the determination.
