Provided is a disposable underwear-type worn article provided with a tape fastener having no risk of causing irritation even if same contacts the skin of a wearer. The tape fastener (18) has: an affixing section (41) that is formed from a substrate sheet made from a fiber nonwoven fabric and that is positioned at a non-skin-opposing surface; a free section (42) folded over by means of at least one folded section (43); a two-sided edge (18c) that, in a widthwise direction (F), opposes a lengthwise direction (E) in the folded over state, and the widthwise direction (F) that is perpendicular to the lengthwise direction (E) and extends approximately parallel to the vertical direction (Y); and at least one temporary affixing section (61) that locally affixes the affixing section (41) and the free section (42) in a peelable manner. The temporary affixing section (61) is not disposed at least at one edge of the two-sided edge (18c), and the portions overlapped at the one edge (18c) are not joined to each other.
