<p>Provided is toilet sand for animals, which can be surely used for a long period and does not undergo the formation of a malodor emanating as the result of the decay of urine attached thereonto. Toilet sand for animals, which comprises 20 to 70% by mass of a pulverized product of a plant-derived material, 2 to 30% by mass of a synthetic resin and 1 to 50% by mass of a water-insoluble inorganic material. It is preferred that the water-insoluble inorganic material has an average particle diameter of 5 to 500 μm. It is also preferred that the water-insoluble inorganic material comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate, calcium hydroxide, calcium sulfate, titanium oxide and talc.</p> |
