PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate thickness control device of a rolled material, capable of making both compatible steady accuracy and a high speed response, in plate thickness control of the rolled material.SOLUTION: The plate thickness control device of the rolled material outputs a measured value of a plate thickness of the rolled material on the outlet side of a rolling machine to a plate thickness control part as a plate thickness feedback value in an area of a frequency lower than a preset boundary frequency, and calculates an estimate value of the plate thickness of the rolled material on the outlet side of the rolled material by a mass flow constant rule using a measured value of a speed of the rolled material on the inlet side of the rolling machine, a measured value of the speed of the rolled material on the outlet side of the rolling machine and a measured value of the plate thickness of the rolled material on the inlet side of the rolled material in an area higher than the boundary frequency, and outputs the estimate value of the plate thickness of the rolled material on the outlet side of the rolled material to the plate thickness control part as the plate thickness feedback value. |
