PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor which increases an oil supply amount while preventing an oil from running out.SOLUTION: A compressor includes: a closed vessel 40; a rotary shaft 2 supported in the closed vessel 40; a compression mechanism part 20 which compresses a refrigerant by rotation of the rotary shaft 2; an oil supply pipeline 2a which is formed in the rotary shaft 2 and circulates an oil supplied to the compression mechanism part 20; an oil storage part 11 provided at the lower part side in the closed vessel 40; oil retention means 17 in which one part is immersed in the oil storage part 11 and the other part is disposed in a gas side space located above the oil storage part 11, the oil retention means 17 having a number of voids thereby retaining the oil; and an oil supply pipe 10 which is provided so that one port is connected with the oil supply pipeline 2a and the other port is immersed in the oil storage part 11. |
