PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing copolymer aqueous dispersion excellent in mechanical stability.SOLUTION: The fluorine-containing copolymer aqueous dispersion is produced by a copolymerization reaction of a fluorine-containing monomer in an aqueous medium by using an alkali metal perfluorovinyloxy polyether carboxylate represented by the general formula [I] defined by CF=CF[OCFCF(CF)]O(CF)O[CF(CF)CFO]CF(CF)COOM (where M is sodium or potassium; a is an integer from 1 to 6, preferably 2; and b+c is an integer from 0 to 6, preferably 0 or 1) as a fluorine-based reactive emulsifier.
