<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin packaging machine and a coin packaging method, capable of preventing a packaging paper having abnormality such as holes and breakage from being wound on accumulated coins to form a packaged coin, and capable of suppressing the packaging operation from being stopped because of occurrence of trouble such as clogging, for improved productivity.SOLUTION: A coin packaging machine 10 includes a paper feeding part 60 which supplies packaging paper to a packaging part 40, an abnormal state detection part 70 which detects an abnormal state of the packaging paper that is to be fed to the packaging part 40, and a control part 80 which, on the basis of the detection information by the abnormal state detection part 70, determines whether or not abnormality has occurred on the packaging paper that is to be fed to the packaging part 40.</p> |
