The present invention provides a steel plate with excellent hydrogen induced cracking resistance and, more specifically, relates to a steel plate for a line pipe. According to the present invention, the steel plate satisfies a predetermined component composition, and the composition of interposed materials with a width of 1 μm or more contained in a steel in accordance with a mass ratio (RES/CaS) of REM sulfide (RES) to Ca sulfide (CaS) being 0.05 or greater, an amount of Zr of the interposed materials being 5-60%, and an amount of Nb of the interposed materials being 5% or less. The steel plate has excellent hydrogen induced cracking resistance by controlling the composition of the interposed materials contained in the steel. |
