PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation input device capable of improving operation feel.SOLUTION: An operation input device 100 comprises: a movable section 70 to which an operating force is input; a fixed section 50 movably supporting the movable section 70 along an operation plane OP; and a reaction force generator 39 causing an electromagnetic force generated by application of a current to act on the movable section 70 as an operation reaction force in a direction along the operation plane OP. Magnets 61 to 64 forming magnetic poles, coils 41 and 42, and outer yokes 51 and 52 are provided in the reaction force generator 39. The operation input device 100 configured as above includes a regulation structure 78 so as to regulate the sum of magnetic attraction forces with which the respective magnets 61 to 64 attract the yokes 51 and 52. This can increase or decrease a pressing force for the movable section 70 to press the fixed section 50 in a z-axis direction. |
