PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel sensor abnormality determination apparatus capable of appropriately carrying out a fuel sensor abnormality determination.SOLUTION: An ECU 40 controls a high pressure pump 26 to be driven so that a detected fuel pressure detected by a fuel pressure sensor 29 matches a target pressure while determining whether abnormality occurs to the fuel pressure sensor 29 on the basis of the comparison of the detected fuel pressure detected by the fuel pressure sensor 29 with a predetermined abnormality determination value. Furthermore, the ECU 40 determines whether a first condition is satisfied, the first condition being that a stop period since an engine 10 stops operating until the engine 10 starts the next time is longer than predetermined time, and determines whether a second condition is satisfied, the second condition being that a reduction amount of an engine temperature during the stop period is equal to or greater than a predetermined determination value. The ECU 40 permits an abnormality determination if determining that the first condition and the second condition are both satisfied, and does not permit the abnormality determination if determining that at least either the first condition or the second condition is not satisfied. |
