PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition that increases bioavailability of meloxicam that is poorly and slowly water soluble.SOLUTION: A method of producing particles of meloxicam dispersed in a grinding material comprises dry-milling solid meloxicam, a millable grinding matrix and a milling aid by using an attritor mill (horizontal or vertical), vibratory mill or nutating mill. The millable grinding matrix is mannitol, sorbitol, isomalt, xylitol, maltitol, lactitol, erythritol, arabitol, ribitol, glucose, fructose, mannose, galactose, anhydrous lactose, or the like. The milling aid is colloidal silica, a surfactant, a polymer, stearic acid, or the like. |
