PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core repair agent capable of realizing repair in shorter time and reducing irregularities of a repaired part.SOLUTION: A core repair agent 1 for repairing a core N used for manufacturing a casting mold, comprises: a silica sol having SiOparticles at particle size of 10 to 40 nm dispersed therein; and ultrafine particles at particle size of 0.1 to 0.3μm, dispersed and mixed in the silica sol. The core N repaired using this core repair agent 1 and a method of repairing the core N are also provided.
