Techniques for script breaking and film scheduling are described. A script manager electronically receives a script. A cut manager assist in cutting the script into scenes by receiving input indicating a start and an end of a scene. A highlight manager receives input highlighting a plurality of elements of a scene. A conditions manager receives input indicating filming conditions of a scene. A scenes manager enables a scene to be selected and the details of that scene to be displayed. A schedule manager electronically receives the broken-down script. A scene selector enables selection of like scenes for filming on a day.
