METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING SAFE DRIVING STATE OF DRIVER

Disclosed are a method and device for detecting the safe driving state of a driver. The method comprises the following steps: (1) detecting the current line-of-sight direction of the driver in real time and collecting a scenario image signal in the forward field of view of the driver during travelling of a vehicle; (2) according to a visual attention calculation model, processing the collected current scenario image signal to obtain attention distribution expected from the driver in the current road scenario; and (3) conducting a fusion analysis on the current line-of-sight direction of the driver detected in real time in step (1) and the attention distribution expected from the driver and calculated in step (2), and judging whether the driver is in a normal driving state currently and whether the driver can make a prompt and proper response to an unexpected road traffic incident. The device is used for implementing the method, and has the advantages of simple principle, easy realization, direct reflection of the real driving state of a driver, and improvement of the driving safety.
