An image processing device (101) updates an image to be displayed on the screen of an information processing device (102) upon reception of manipulation input from the information processing device (102). Further, the image processing device (101) regularly obtains image information about images to be displayed on the screen of the information processing device (102). When the image processing device (101) obtains image information about the first of two successive images, the image processing device (101) does not immediately determine whether to transmit the image information about the first image. Instead, when the image processing device (101) later obtains image information about the second of the two successive images, the image processing device (101) determines whether to transmit the image information about the first image, on the basis of both the image information about the first image and the image information about the second image. If it is determined that the image information about the first image should be transmitted, the image processing device (101) transmits the image information about the first image. |
