<p>A system (1) is described, for engaging/disengaging the transmission for a direct drive engine (3), in particular a special terrestrial vehicle (5) such as a go-kart, comprising at least one coupling/uncoupling means (7) interposed between at least one drive shaft (9) of the engine (3) and at least one driven element (11), the coupling/uncoupling means (7) being adapted to pass, discretely and without slipping under the action of at least one control member (13), from an operating position with mechanical uncoupling between the drive shaft (9) of the engine (3) and the driven element (11) to an operating position with mechanical coupling between the drive shaft (9) of the engine (3) and the driven element (11), and vice versa.</p> |
