<p>Abstract The present invention relates to an improved decking assembly using glass reinforced concrete elements. In particular the present invention relates to an improved decking assembly and system from glass reinforced concrete elements which are easy to assemble and disassemble and provides timber alternative. The present invention is directed to an assembly for a decking structure or jetty or like structure, the assembly including: a plurality of longitudinal GRC planks; a plurality of connecting blocks for supporting adjacent planks in an assembled condition, wherein the connecting blocks are adapted to be mounted in spaced apart relation on a support frame; a releaseable engagement means comprising mating interlocking components on the planks and connecting blocks for releasably interlocking the planks and connecting blocks in an assembled condition; wherein in an assembled condition, the each planks are located on adjacent connecting blocks to form a substantially continuous platform, and wherein the releasable engagement means holds the planks in a stable holding condition while allowing ready disassembly from the holding condition. -- - -- -- - FIGURE l B V-4027367:1 125 105 100 127 127 t 101 FIGURE 1C V-4027367:1</p> |
