<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a bar-like component, which is capable of improving strength of the bar-like component while reducing a manufacturing cost of the bar-like component in the case of constituting the bar-like component by connecting a pipe made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin with a metal component.SOLUTION: A bar-like component 22 includes a pipe 10 and metal components 17, 18. A method of manufacturing the bar-like component 22 includes: a process of winding a carbon fiber 25 and a thermoplastic resin fiber 26 round a core material including a metal ring 16 which has an outer peripheral surface 16A to which surface roughening work is applied; a process of melting the thermoplastic resin fiber 26 by heating the thermoplastic resin fiber 26 wound round the outer peripheral surface of the core material while pressurizing the fiber 26; a process of forming the pipe 10 in which end parts 10A, 10B are externally fitted to the outer peripheral surface 16A, by cooling thermoplastic resin which is melted and impregnated into the carbon fiber 25; and a process of screw-fastening the metal components 17, 18 and the metal ring 16.</p> |
