<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded body for water quality treatment, in the molded body contaminated water and microalga being always in contact with each other so that effective water cleaning ability can be stably exhibited, and when the time comes to finally dispose of the molded body its volume reduction is easy, by using a molded body with which microalga that takes contaminants such as heavy metals and radioactive materials in water into its body can be quite easily molded in a desirable shape and size and strongly immobilized.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a molded body containing the microalga as described above is provided, in the method dried powder type microalga being added to and dispersed in a material to mold a molded body in an arbitrary ratio and then molded into an arbitrary shape.</p> |
