<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element which facilitates manufacture without requiring the matching design of heat resistance and thermal expansion coefficient of an adhesive and can prevent characteristics deterioration of a piezoelectric body.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a piezoelectric element 100 which is bent by application of a voltage. The piezoelectric element includes: a plurality of electrode layers 111, 112 to which the voltage is applied; an expansion and contraction layer 120 which is formed of a piezoelectric material between the plurality of electrode layers 111, 112 and expanded and contracted by application of the voltage; and a shim layer 130 which is formed of the same piezoelectric material as that of the expansion and contraction layer 120, and does not expand and contract by application of the voltage. Respective layers are laminated in the thickness direction and integrally formed in a plate shape, and the piezoelectric element 100 bends by expanding and contracting the expansion and contraction layer 120 with respect to the shim layer 130.</p> |
