<p>Provided is a disposable underpants-type article for wear comprising a tape fastener which is formed with a relatively soft sheet material, and which has a proximal part that is easily deformed and a distal part that is stably fastened. The present invention is a disposable underpants-type article for wear in which at least a first waist region (14) out of front and back waist regions (13, 14) has elasticity in a lateral direction (X), and in which a tape fastener (20) is formed with a fibrous nonwoven fabric and comprises a proximal part (21) that is fixed proximate to a side part (18) of the first waist region (14) via a joining region (60) and a distal part (22) that has a latching region (68) for detachably latching the tape fastener (20) onto an outer face of a second waist region (13). A high rigidity region (70) is formed at least between the joining region (60) and the latching region (68) in the distal part (22), the high rigidity region (70) having a rigidity higher than the proximal part (21) in a direction in which both side edge parts of the tape fastener (20) move toward each other.</p> |
