Provided is a controlled release type gatifloxacin formulation, which comprises gatifloxacin and a biocompatible polymer impregnated with the gatifloxacin, regarding a controlled release type gatifloxacin formulation for drug delivery. The present invention provides a controlled release type gatifloxacin formulation and a manufacturing method thereof, which is capable of increasing epidermal bioavailability as directly attaching to the injured area and continuously releasing a drug.
