<p>The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a superconducting material having a good critical current density; a precursor of the superconducting material; and a method for producing the superconducting material. In order to solve this problem, a superconducting material (10) is configured by agglomerating a plurality of magnesium diboride crystal grains, each of which comprises a main phase (1) containing magnesium diboride and a carbon-containing phase (2) containing magnesium diboride and carbon that is contained in the crystal lattice of magnesium diboride, such that the carbon-containing phase (2) is formed at the crystal grain boundary (4) between adjacent magnesium diboride crystal grains.</p> |
