PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner equipped with both of an engine-driven compressor and an electric driven compressor, and operated even during a power failure.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 100 includes: a GHP unit 110 which has a gas engine 112, a generator 114, a battery 118, and an engine-driven compressor 120, and compresses a coolant; an EHP unit 150 which is configured independently from the GHP unit, and has an electric driven compressor 154 for compressing the coolant by using a motor 152 as a driving force; an indoor machine unit 200; and a power system switching portion 270 which normally switches a power source of power supplied to the GHP unit and the indoor machine unit to commercial power supply, and switches the power source of power supplied to the GHP unit and the indoor machine unit to a generator during power failure. |
