PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle capable of suppressing an erroneous decision of an automatic shift-down and performing a decision promptly, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: A control part of a work vehicle executes an automatic downshift for downshifting the speed range of a transmission to a speed range lower than the present speed range. On the basis of an automatic downshift condition, the control part decides the execution of the automatic downshift. The automatic downshift condition contains that the operation quantity of the accelerator operation member is at or more than a predetermined acceleration threshold value, that the vehicle speed is at or lower than a predetermined speed threshold value, and that the acceleration is at or less than a predetermined acceleration threshold value. |
