<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rotation of a brush holder in screw fastening, and to prevent reduction in insulation properties due to rotation of a terminal in screw fastening.SOLUTION: A starter motor 1 includes a bracket 6, a power feeding terminal 27 attached to the bracket 6 and a brush holder 25 fixed in the bracket 6. In the brush holder 25, a - side brush 24a connected to the bracket 6 and a + side brush 24b connected to the power feeding terminal 27 are stored. The - side brush 24a is connected to a terminal 32a and fixed on the bracket 6 together with the brush holder 25 and the + side brush 24b is connected to a terminal 32b and fixed on the power feeding terminal 27 by a screw 33b. A butting portion 41 is projectively formed on an inner peripheral wall 39 of the bracket 6, and when the brush holder 25 is rotated by fastening the screw 33a, the butting portion is abutted on the butting face 42 of the brush holder 25 to regulate rotation of the brush holder 25.</p> |
