<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device capable of shortening time required for a defrosting operation performed during a heating operation, when performing a cooling operation and a heating operation by performing a multi-stage compression.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner 1 for performing a heating operation, a defrosting operation and a cooling operation by switching them, during the cooling operation, both first and second outdoor expansion valves 47, 48 are closed, during the heating operation, a refrigerant heading for a third outdoor heat exchanger 43, out of the refrigerant from first and second indoor heat exchangers 12a, 13a, is decompressed by the first expansion valve 47, and the refrigerant heading for a fourth outdoor heat exchanger 44 is decompressed by the second expansion valve 48. During the defrosting operation, the second outdoor expansion valve 48 is intermittently opened so as to pass the refrigerant heading for the first, second indoor heat exchangers 12a, 13a from the fourth outdoor heat exchanger 44.</p> |
