<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat belt capable of preventing warp of a woven fabric from coming off a belt-side end when a pair of belts is looped over many pulleys with a flange.SOLUTION: A flat belt comprises one or more elastomer layers, and a woven fabric that forms an outer or inner peripheral surface. When each woven fabric on the outer peripheral surface or each woven fabric on the inner peripheral surface is bonded and superposed on a surface of the elastomer layer, roughening processing for raising fibers constituting the woven fabric is applied to at least one surface of each woven fabric on the outer peripheral surface or at least one surface of each woven fabric on the inner peripheral surface, and the woven fabric is bonded and superposed on the elastomer layer.</p> |
