PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust separator technology for improving collection efficiency of a very fine particle, by efficiently separating-removing the very fine particle from dust-containing exhaust gas or dust-containing air, by combining a fixed cyclone and a rotary cyclone.SOLUTION: A dust separator 15 related to the present invention comprises: a fixed cyclone 19 which is provided in an upper part in a body case 21 and to which the dust-containing exhaust gas or the dust-containing air flows in from the tangential direction; a rotary cyclone 20 provided below the fixed cyclone 19; and a driving motor 22 for rotationally driving the rotary cyclone 20 around the rotational axis. The rotary cyclone 20 includes a sleeve-shaped cylinder part 43 and a truncated cone-shaped inverted cone part 44 in one piece. A dust recovery chamber is provided below the inverted cone part 44 for recovering the very fine particle separated-removed by the centrifugal force action using the principle of the cyclone from the dust-containing exhaust gas or the dust-containing air.
