<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion device performing color conversion so as to be reproduced accurately as a color on the inside of a color gamut outline, even if a color gamut outline created using less color data pairs is used.SOLUTION: A color gamut conversion unit 5 converts a given color into a color on the inside of a color gamut outline in a color space independent from the device, according to the information of color gamut outline created based on a plurality of color data pairs of the color values of a plurality of color chips, and a colorimetric value obtained by performing colorimetry of the color outputted from an output device 1 receiving the color value. A correction unit 6 corrects a color becoming the gamut of the output device 1, out of the colors after color gamut conversion by the color gamut conversion unit 5, or the color existing in color gamut outline, so as to become the color of the color gamut outline of the output device 1.</p> |
