<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door capable of suppressing degradation in rigidity of a vertical frame material.SOLUTION: A sliding door 1 includes a sliding door body 2, a vertical frame material 3, and handle members 4 which are attached on both front and rear sides of the vertical frame material 3 in corresponding arrangement. The vertical frame material 3 includes an inner wall part 31 positioned at a side end part of the sliding door body 2, an outer wall part 32 countered to the inner wall part 31, and a hollow profile material surrounded with a front wall part 33 and a rear wall part 34 countered to each other along the direction orthogonal to the direction in which the inner wall part 31 faces the outer wall part 32. The handle member 4 is long in vertical direction. When the handle member 4 is inserted into the front wall part 33 and the rear wall part 34, a fitting opening 30 which is long in vertical direction is formed. At least in a range of vertical length of the fitting opening 30, a reinforcing member 5 that connects the outer wall part 32 to the inner wall part 31 is bridged between the outer wall part 32 and the inner wall part 31.</p> |
