In recording technology which forms a plurality of light spots using an ultra-short pulse laser and a spatial optical modulator so as to collectively form a plurality of recording bits in the interior of a recording medium, there is an upper limit to the number of bits that can be collectively recorded, and therefore, recording speed has been limited. Therefore, by correcting the intensity of light spots so as to increase the number of bits that can be collectively recorded, recording speed has been improved. |
