The present invention relates to a cooling screw, and a cooling method for the cooling screw using same, the cooling screw comprising: a body portion; a body portion flow path which is formed inside the body portion and along the axis direction of the body portion and opens through the lower end of the body portion; a head portion which is formed on the upper end of the body portion; a head portion flow path which is formed inside the head portion and of which the horizontal width is greater than the horizontal width of the body portion flow path; and a discharge hole of which the cross-sectional area is less than the horizontal cross-sectional area of the body portion flow path and which is formed through the upper surface of the head portion so as to communicate with the head portion flow path.
