<p>Disclosed are a POS terminal using a QR code and a payment method thereof. According to the present invention, a store server stores price information of a corresponding product recognized through a barcode or a QR code of the product displayed in the store in advance. A user terminal accesses the store server through the barcode or the QR code of the displayed product by using a POS application of a store, receives a product name and price information of the corresponding product from the accessed store server, stores the product name and the price information, and uses the stored product name and the stored price information for payment. By the POS terminal using the QR code and the payment method thereof, the POS application of the store is installed in the user terminal, and a user purchases and pays for the product by recognizing the barcode of the product in a display stand. Therefore, the user need not wait for the payment in front of a counter in a row and can do the shopping conveniently. Also, the user can check purchase price during purchasing usefully and conveniently.</p> |
