PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power supply apparatus capable of suppressing performance deterioration of a battery while maintaining a power loss reduction effect by intermittent step-up control.SOLUTION: A vehicular power supply apparatus includes: a battery 150; a converter 200 for stepping up a voltage VB of the battery 150 to supply it to inverters 210, 220 of a vehicle; and a control device 500 for controlling the converter 200 in a continuous step-up mode to operate the converter continuously and in an intermittent step-up mode to operate the converter 200 intermittently. The control device 500 controls the converter 200 so that discharge power from the battery 150 does not exceed a discharge power upper limit value Wout, and suppresses operation of the converter 200 in the intermittent step-up mode as the discharge power upper limit value Wout decreases.
