摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit that can be used for a high definition organic EL and can reduce the number of TFTs to allow microfabrication.SOLUTION: The dive circuit comprises: an n-channel driving TFT connected between a cathode of an organic EL element and a reference potential point; an n-channel selection TFT connected to a data line; a first capacitor connected between gates of the selection TFT and the driving TFT; a second capacitor connected between the gate of the driving TFT and the first capacitor, and the reference potential point; and an n-channel setting TFT connected between the first capacitor, the second capacitor and the gate of the driving TFT, and the cathode of the organic EL element and the driving TFT. The first and second capacitors are charged via the organic EL element by turning on the selection and setting TFTs on the basis of the data line as reference potential. After charging, power to the organic EL element is blocked with the data line being set to be the reference potential, the selection and setting TFTs are turned on, the driving TFT is driven with a diode by charged power of the first and second capacitors to set a threshold voltage of the driving TFT.
