<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal rise in heating surface temperature of a heat generation part of a heater.SOLUTION: One lengthwise end of a rectangular plate-like deformable member 15 made of shape memory alloy is fitted on a heating surface of a heater's heat generation part 2 submerged in water 10 in a container 7 for heating liquid. The deformable member 15 takes an attitude along the heat generation surface of the heat generation part 2 at a temperature lower than a deformation temperature that is a certain temperature range higher than the boiling point of the water 10, and has deformability such that an end 17 on a free-end side projects away from the heat generation surface of the heat generation part 2 at a temperature equal to or higher than the deformation temperature. Further, the deformable member 15 has its surface processed to be hydrophilic. If a part covered with an air bubble 18 is formed on the heat generation surface of the heat generation part 2 to reach the deformation temperature of the deformable member 15 when the water 10 is heated, the deformable member 15 deforms to come into contact with the water 10 outside the air bubble 18, resulting in heat conduction through the deformable member 15 and introduction of the water 10 into the heat generation surface side by the hydrophilicity of the surface, which suppresses a rise in temperature of the heat generation surface.</p> |
