PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining a metal member to a resin member, in which formation of burrs is prevented, and to provide the resin member to be used in the method for joining the metal member to the resin member.SOLUTION: The method for joining the metal member to the resin member, which method is a thermocompression type joining method, comprises the step of: superposing the metal member 11 on the resin member 12; and imparting heat and pressure to the members of a superposed state from the metal member 11 side to soften the resin member 12 so that the metal member 11 is joined to the resin member 12 by using softened resin member. A pooling groove 120, into which the softened resin member is made to flow when the metal member is joined to the resin member, is formed on the joint surface 12a of the resin member 12 to the metal member and/or the joint surface 11a of the metal member 11 to the resin member. A joined member set consisting of the metal member and the resin member is provided, which members are used in the method for joining the metal member to the resin member. |
