PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately diagnose a supercharged state by a supercharger by highly accurately estimating a supercharging pressure in an engine equipped with a low-pressure EGR system.SOLUTION: A supercharged state diagnostic apparatus for an engine 10 equipped with a supercharger, comprises: a sensor 92 configured to detect a supercharging pressure; estimation means configured to estimate the supercharging pressure; and diagnostic means configured to diagnose a supercharged state by comparing the supercharging pressure detected by the sensor 92 with the estimated supercharging pressure. The estimation means estimates exhaust energy upstream of a supercharger system 6 in an exhaust passage 40, calculates a gas flow upstream of the supercharger system 6 in an intake passage 30, and estimates the supercharging pressure on the basis of the estimated exhaust energy and the calculated gas flow. The estimation means further estimates the supercharging pressure while considering predetermined items relating to an operating state of a low-pressure EGR system 52. |
