This storage apparatus is connected to a host device and a secondary storage apparatus, and has memory, a storage unit and a processor. The memory includes a save memory region, and a cache memory region which temporarily stores data received from the host device. The storage unit stores data received from the host device. At a copy start time, the processor controls copy processing of designated data to another storage apparatus and if, after copy start, an update request is received for a first data block in the cache memory region, then the first data block is saved to the save memory region, and the first data block in the cache memory region is updated to an updated data block. |
