Disclosed is a device (10) for leading a part (90) through an opening (21) in a wall (20) of an explosion-protected housing (15) in a dust ignition-proof manner. In one embodiment, an elastically deformable and/or malleable sealing member (49) is arranged directly in the opening (21) in the wall. A clamping arrangement (59) is used for clamping said sealing member (40) against a clamping portion (29) of the wall (20), said clamping portion (29) tapering transversely to a lead-through direction (D). In order to clamp the sealing member (40), the clamping arrangement (59) applies an axial clamping force on the sealing member (40) in the lead-through direction (D). During this process, the sealing member (40) can be at least slightly deformed in a radial direction and comes to rests against the opening (21) in the wall and against the part (90) that is led through the sealing member (40), resulting in a dust ignition-proof arrangement.
