PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external attachment type RF tag reading/writing device that can correctly read and write data from/in a RF tag.SOLUTION: A RF tag reading/writing device comprises: a conveyance face 20 that guides a rear surface of a zone-like medium in which a label 41 including a RF tag 40 is adhered in a front surface; an antenna 21 that is provided to face the zone-like medium across the conveyance face for transmitting/receiving data by the RF tag and a radio; a transmission/reception unit for reading/writing data via the antenna; first and second guides 23a and 23b that are provided in the conveyance face so as to regulate a movement in a width direction of the zone-like medium; a guide rail 22 that slidably holds the first and second guides in the width direction along the conveyance face; and a cover 3 that is provided to allow the conveyance face to be opened/closed between a close position, which faces the front surface of the zone-like medium in the conveyance face and contacts with the first and second guides therein, and a release position, which is spaced apart from the first and second guides and releases the conveyance face. |
