PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain-type continuously variable transmission which can sufficiently supply a lubricant to a chain while suppressing an amount of the lubricant which flows in a chain lubrication circuit.SOLUTION: In a chain-type continuously variable transmission 1 which steplessly gear-changes by changing a winding radius of a chain 13 which is wound around a primary pulley 11 and a secondary pulley 12, the chain-type continuously variable transmission comprises: a lubrication-side chain guide 30 which has a chain slide-contact face 34 extending along a passing trace of the chain 13, and regulates the movement of the chain 13; a lubrication-side chain guide support part 50 which is arranged at a transmission case 4 incorporated with the primary pulley 11 and the secondary pulley 12, and supports the lubrication-side chain guide 30 so as to be oscillatory conforming to a change of the passing trace of the chain 13; and a chain lubrication circuit in which a lubricant for lubricating the chain 13 flows, and which has a discharge port 35a opened at the chain slide-contact face 34. |
