TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal equipped with a structure capable of increasing a number of signal lines of a connection object connected to a connector, without increasing size in a pitch direction of the connector.SOLUTION: A terminal is equipped with a first terminal, a second terminal, and an insulation body. The first terminal has a first contact portion, and the second terminal has a second contact portion. The first contact portion is electrically connected with a first counterpart side connecting portion of the connection object in a first direction. The second contact portion is electrically connected with a second counterpart side connecting portion of the connection object from the opposite side to the first contact portion in the first direction. The insulation body fixes and integrates the first terminal and the second terminal in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction while electrically insulating the first terminal and the second terminal. When the first contact portion and the second contact portion are respectively connected with the first counterpart side connecting portion and the second counterpart side connecting portion, the first terminal is not electrically connected with the second counterpart side connecting portion, and the second terminal is not electrically connected with the first counterpart side connecting portion.
