<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of preventing sub-weights being misaligned with respect to predetermined positions in a hoistway or falling due to vibration, earthquake or the like.SOLUTION: Provided is an elevator device for mutually moving up and down a car and a counterweight that are provided to be movable up and down along rails provided built in a hoistway and that are connected to each other by ropes, by means of a hoist around which the ropes are wound. The elevator device comprises: a sub-weight making a weight of the counterweight variable; a sub-weight mount unit provided above the counterweight and capable of mounting at least one sub-weight; a sub-weight storage unit supplying or collecting the sub-weight onto this sub-weight mount unit; an active weight grip unit provided in the sub-weight storage unit, and actively gripping or releasing the sub-weight using an actuator; and a passive weight grip unit provided in the sub-weight storage unit, and passively gripping or releasing the sub-weight by abutting on the sub-weight mount unit.</p> |
