<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel hose which is strong, durable, flexible, resistant to organic solvents and resistant to volumetric expansion and exhibits a long service life and low permeability to gasoline.SOLUTION: A low permeation curb pump hose comprises: a tube layer 1 comprising a first nitrile rubber; a barrier layer 2 which is situated over the tube layer and comprises a fluorothermoplastic; a friction layer 3 which is situated over the barrier layer and comprises a second nitrile rubber; a reinforcement layer 4 which is situated over the friction layer and comprises braided steel wire having a wire coverage of about 30 percent to about 60 percent; and a cover layer which is situated over the reinforcing layer and comprises a chlorinated polyethylene.</p> |
