PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy management device and an energy management method capable of reducing a risk of evoking a facility failure when a plurality of facilities are operated in collaboration with each other.SOLUTION: A server power management device 40 comprises a control section 43 which commands a plurality of facilities 10 to apply an operation pattern where the plurality of facilities 10 are controlled to obtain desired output in collaboration with each other. The control section 43 decides the operation pattern in accordance with failure risks of the facilities 10. In the operation pattern, a load of the facility 10 with a first failure risk is lower than the load of another facility 10 with a second failure risk which is lower than the first failure risk. |
