PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement method of an overhead line when replacing an overhead line (electric wire) stretched between steel towers.SOLUTION: A replacement method of an overhead line uses a tensioning device 100 comprising: a compression clamp 130 which holds an end part of a supporting wire R stretched between steel towers T, T; a body part 110 which is mounted on the steel tower T; and an extension member 140 which is connected between the compression clamp 130 and the body part 110. The extension member 140 enables the supporting wire R to be loosened by narrowing intervals between the end parts of each supporting wire R held by the compression clamp 130, so that an electric wire S below the supporting wire R is replaced while tensile force applied to the supporting wire R is weaken in comparison with the normal time. The extension member 140 between the compression clamp 130 and the body part 110 is removed after replacing the electric wire S, and the compressing clamp 130 is connected with the body part 110. |
