<p>The present disclosure provides a process for a passenger to receive remuneration for baggage or luggage that is lost by an airline notwithstanding the contents of the baggage. The process charges a predetermined amount of coverage on a leg of an airline flight for the baggage notwithstanding the contents of the baggage, obtains information via any type of electronic medium from the airline and creates a physical receipt so that the amount of coverage can be obtained by the person covered after a certain period of time easily and without any further proof. The method includes waiting for a first fixed period of time for the airline to declare that the baggage is lost, and waiting for a second, fixed period of time that is longer in duration than the first, fixed period of time, to file a claim for the declared lost baggage.</p> |
