PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide specimen label reading/integrating means for avoiding an error such as misidentification of specimens by integrally managing clinical inspection information.SOLUTION: The specimen label reading/integrating means includes: an X table 2 provided on a planar base 1 and capable of reciprocating in one direction; a Y beam 3 that is provided on a portal-shaped upper beam installed in the other direction crossing with the X direction and can reciprocate in the Y direction; a Z support 4 that is installed movably in the vertical direction; an air chuck 5 that pulls up a specimen container 10 stored in a cassette 9 one by one, at the lower end thereof and is fitted rotatably about a vertical shaft of the specimen container 9; a bar-code reader 7 that reads a bar-code label stuck to the specimen container 10 pulled up from the cassette 9; a camera provided on the y beam 3 for checking the position of the specimen container 10; and a stamp 8 that disables the reading of one tag that becomes unnecessary, on the basis of data read by the bar-code reader 7.
